Liv Dolls

Toy Review:

The Liv dolls have the ultimate new fashion accessory-puppies! There's Katie and her Border Collie Sk8, Daniela and her Yellow Lab DJ, Alexis with her Bichon Frise Lacey, and Sophie and her Shih Tzu Frizzy. Each doll comes with fashions and accessories for both the doll and the dog! Each Liv doll features easy-to-change wigs, 14 points of articulation, and glass-like eyes. Girls can change up the dolls' hair and fashions with the multiple Liv wig and fashion assortments (sold separately).

Girls can also hang out at the mall with their Liv dolls thanks to the new Mall Kiosk. The Bloomfield mall kiosk is where all the Liv girls get their rad accessories. The kiosk includes more than 15 highly detailed pieces, including jewelry, sunglasses, purses, necklaces, a stool, a cash register, and one exclusive online access code for LivWorld.com.

Liv dolls are designed to represent "real" girls, or at least idealized versions of attainable goals that pre-teens can relate to, rather than a total fantasy world. They are perfect for pre-teens who may be too old to play dolls in a traditional way, but who are into fashion, collecting and online communication. To be sure, they're fashion forward, but they're always in good taste, which is something parents really appreciate.
