This ready-to-run train set comes with a Thomas the Tank Engine with moving eyes, an Annie coach with international-style hook-and-loop couplers, a Clarabel coach with international-style hook-and-loop couplers, Bertie the Bus, Harold the Helicopter, a Sir Topham Hatt figure, a power pack, a speed controller, and an illustrated instruction manual. There is also a 56-inch by 38-inch oval of snap-fit E-Z Track (making it easy to assemble) with 12 pieces of curved track, three pieces of straight track, and one straight plug-in terminal rerailer.

No question this is an investment, but this is a beautiful set that has all the quality and precision engineering that have made Bachmann trains special. This is likely to be a train set that will be cherished-and very likely be handed down to the next generation of Thomas the Tank Engine lovers.
